Ok, went to see this movie last night and was severly disappointed. This is a movie that is best to wait until DVD.
I love costume dramas, but there were too many cross timelines. And the Elenor Toledo gown makes an appearance on a main character. I will screen comments in case there are those that want to discuss details... But basically they took a really well written book and destoyed it.

Yes, folks, it's that time of year again. This year's Masturbate-a-Thon will be held on Saturday, May 27th, 2007. Yes, really!

This event happens each spring, and is sponsored by sexuality boutiques nationwide. This year's event is being held to support the Center for Sex and Culture, which is based in San Francisco, but I have negotiatiated with the sponsor of the event, Good Vibrations, to have any monies raised by me to go to a more local charity, The Network/La Red. The Network/La Red is a local domestic violence organization that provides help and safehousing for GLBT people. They are one of the only domestic violence organizations in the country who will assist people involved in BDSM, as well.

I have been doing this event for several years, and hope to raise my goal this year (last year I raised $300!). My employer also does "matching gifts" for charitable donations, and since The Network/La Red is a 501c3 orga nization, all donations will be matched!

How does it work, you ask? Well, originally, it was set up so that people could sponsor you a certain amount per minute of masturbation. However, I've been known to get a bit overenthused, and all my friends would go broke! And, as we know, nothing breaks the mood faster than an alarm clock going off, right? ;)

So, I've made it easier for you, and more fun for me. The answer to this dilemma is, you give a flat amount that you wish to donate, and I'll divide it out later. :)

Happy Beltane to those that celebrate.

Ok quick update. Job is good,
still waiting on the apartment.

This weekend was amazing, sad and painful. I spent all day Saturday at Balfar's Challenge with my boys and they had a wonderful time. We had to leave early for Genna's Dance recital, which she received an award for beft improvment in Tap, I did not get to see cause Daniel took the opportunity before to say he had to go to the bathroom, so i did not know until i went in back to get her after and she had the metal around her neck. That was hard. then when i got home Rod told me that Matthew had been called into Baronial Court at Balfar's, it seems that he got his own medal for Division 2 Jr Tournament.
I am so proud of them and Daniel wanted to be with Mommy all day. It was good knowing that the boys can run around an event without worry. I swear Daniel had something like 5-6 hard boiled eggs saturday he kept going back and forth to the day board.

On Sunday was Pam's memorial service and it was truly beautiful in the middle of a rose garden with her family and friends there. I am not going into that or i will cry again. But on the way out i fell and hurt my knee and ankle so i am wrapped in ace for a few days only i hope.
and then the elevator in the buildiung is down for 3 days i live on the fifth floor, sp that means five floors of stair, which i would not normally have a problem but at snails pace well... that is all i have to leave for work.

ok quick update... New job good, i am being trained early on equipment, about 6 months to a year early. so that is a good thing.. hmm fast tracking...
looking for a new apartment... so moving soon again,,....so that is not much fun

so other than that all else is well// i have the kids on easter sunday with my family so i am happy about that..

off to work now and a 4-5 hour training day...

Ok... after months of searching. My search comes to an end. I start a new job on Monday that allows me to rejoin the life that has been passing me by over the last year. I join all of you in the 9-5 circut with a cubicle, and an office email acct... it is a good thing and in the field i am trained in.

I start in Stratford working with salons in both development and sales. So all is good. and i and they have what is called 'summer hours' from July to Sept where i get out of work at 3pm instead of 530. that is a good thing, and health, 401k, vacation, sick days, and holiday pay. So things are going great.

Now back to finishing my sewing project.

ok so i have been having dizzy spells for a few days now and go to the dr only to have her say that yes you have a severe sinus infection and a double middle ear infection that is causing the equilibium to how shall i say want me flat on my back instead of verticle... which really sucks.... but in a day or so it should start to get better.... and no more falling over ...

other than that i am good i had a job interview yesterday and hope it went well i am just waiting now to see if i was liked enough for a 2nd interview.

Furniture is a good thing... after almost a year i will have my dresser and cedar chest back and few other things.. my ex has rented a truck and will be bringing it to me... yay!!!

So if anyone wants to help, i will be very grateful of it.. we will be unloading at about 1pm in the afternoon ...either way i am happy i finally get to put my things away .. that in its own is good for me

other than that i am still alive, and my cold is i hope beginning to break up so i will be myself again soon.

I just got home a little while ago after being stranded in NJ with friends for the Wicked Faire... The roads yesterday when we went out to go to just the hotel , Kennis needed snacks and juice... and we needed food they were awful. so i am glad we made the decision to stay put, the hotel had a great hot tub and pool so we took advantage. i am going to try to post the pics of my portable snow drift... but home safe and that is what matters ...
